Things to do Near Our Campsite
The Queen’s winter country retreat. Visit the house, church and acres of gardens. There is also a huge free play park for the kids, designed by Kate Middleton.

Norfolk’s only seal sanctuary open to visitors, also home to sharks, colourful clownfish, sea turtles, common octopus, penguins and more.
45 minutes away.
The stunning Ayscoughfee Hall is now a Museum. The Medieval building dates back to 1451 and has beautiful gardens which are free to enter. There is a fabulous cafe there too.

Just 25 minute drive.
The range is used regularly by the RAF for target practice. The whole of the site and activities held there can be observed by the public from the road.

GREAT PLACES TO EAT
Chequers of Weston is a great village pub to eat at (19 minutes drive). Brothers in Arms Restaurant serves great food (18 minutes drive). And The Granary in our local village of Long Sutton is also very reasonably priced, decent quality pub grub.
A very affordable venue, with a large and varied selection of owls and birds of prey. Free flying displays every day at 13:30

GOLF
There are 3 golf courses within 12 minutes of Laurel Park - Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club, Sutton Bridge Golf Club and Hovenden Golf Club. There are 4 more within 30 minutes drive.

This important Norfolk visitor attraction is one of the largest and best preserved monastic sites in England dating back to 1090. There is an interactive exhibition and a family trail.

FOOD DELIVERIES
There are a few businesses that deliver food to Laurel Park. 2 that we regularly mention to campers are: Dominos and Chilli Hut, which serves a mixture of indian, burgers, kebabs and pizza.
